As an actor, model, brand ambassador and motorcycle enthusiast, Luke Allan DiTella is a modern-day Renaissance man.
Born in Morrisville, Vermont to Sandra and Frank DiTella, Luke and his family relocated to Ocean City, NJ, where he developed his love for surfing, and led him to an illustrious pro-surfing career that included multiple amateur and professional titles.
After being scouted by a film casting director in Soho, NYC Luke was quickly signed by print and film agencies. He has since appeared in numerous campaigns and commercials for brands like American Crew, Diesel, Ferrari, Tom Wood, Grey Goose, Ray Ban, DeLeon, GQ, Godiva, Cadillac, AG, Viktor & Rolf, Lab Series, just to name a few, and has acted in Indie films like the highly-awarded The Land of Smiles.
From 2013 to present, VH1, Buzzfeed, Diply and Elite Daily have labeled him a top model/actor with an edgier look, and he’s a favorite for many projects with GQ magazine. Luke has become a sought-after ambassador for luxury motor brands like Aston Martin & Ferrari, and a speaker at various panel discussions.
As a motorcycle enthusiast, Luke connects with motorcycle riders as well, and he’s even opened a custom motorcycle & retail space in southern California, named Seaweed&Gravel. His grounded demeanor, yet expansive knowledge of cars and bikes put him in an elite league.
Over the years, Luke has also been commissioned to write pieces for Yahoo, Surfing magazine and various publications. The dramatic loss of both of his parents 15 months apart from each other has even sparked him to writing a book detailing his ordeal and learning to turn his loss into positivity.
Luke’s other pursuits include rebuilding vintage cars, music, surfing, racing, boxing and remaining a positive role model for the younger generation. His charitable efforts include Rebuild Recover in the wake of hurricane Sandy and an event to raise awareness for heart disease, which claimed the lives of his parents.
